Each row blends the GFS, ICON, HRRR, HRDPS and ECMWF models, weighted toward the ones that agree; Agree shows how closely they match. The surface row uses the live METAR for the current hour when a station is nearby. Light, uncertain winds (under 8 kt with disagreeing models, or a calm/variable METAR) are marked ≈. All directions are magnetic, corrected for the dropzone’s declination.
The dashed white circle is the 1,200 ft pattern-start circle. The green area is where you can open (3,000 ft by default) and still reach that circle by 1,000 ft; wind stretches it upwind and, in strong wind, cuts the downwind side flat. The dashed green area is your reserve range: open at 2,000 ft, reach the circle by 500 ft. Tap an edge for details.
Enter canopy size, exit weight, type and opening altitude (and a known glide ratio if you have one). Performance numbers are estimates. Settings are saved on this device.
Freefall drift (45 s freefly, 60 s belly), canopy wind and surface wind. Tap an item for wind particles on the map; drag the widget out of the way.
Slide up to 72 hours ahead. The live METAR applies to the current hour only.
A planning aid only — the S&TA, pilot and your own judgement decide.
